Terms of Service
Welcome to CompliPass. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website complipass.net (the “Site”) and the services described on it. By using the Site or requesting our Free Compliance Check, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
CompliPass helps sellers based outside the European Union meet EU product-compliance requirements — including the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) — by arranging EU Responsible Person representation, coordinating accredited laboratory testing, and preparing compliance documentation. Full provider details are set out in our Imprint / Legal Notice.
2. The Free Compliance Check
The Free Compliance Check is exactly that: free. Requesting it places you under no obligation to purchase anything, now or later. It is an informational assessment based on the details you provide, intended to help you understand what your products may need in order to be sold in the EU. It does not create a contract for paid services, and we may decline, limit, or discontinue checks at our discretion.
3. Nature of our services
CompliPass provides compliance assistance and representative services. We are not a law firm, and nothing on this Site or in a Free Compliance Check constitutes legal advice or a legal opinion. Any information we provide is general in nature and may not address your specific circumstances. For binding legal advice, you should consult a qualified lawyer.[cite: 1]
4. Your responsibilities
You remain responsible for the safety and compliance of your products. As the manufacturer, importer, or seller, you are ultimately accountable for ensuring your products meet all applicable requirements. You agree that the information you provide to us is accurate and complete; our assessments and services rely on it. CompliPass does not manufacture, inspect, or take ownership of your products.[cite: 1]
5. Paid services
Any paid services — such as Responsible Person representation, laboratory-testing coordination, or documentation — are provided only under a separate written service agreement that sets out scope, fees, and conditions. Prices shown on the Site are indicative and may change. No paid service begins until you have accepted the applicable agreement.[cite: 1]
6. No guarantee of specific outcomes
We work to prepare your documentation in line with the applicable requirements. However, decisions made by online marketplaces, customs authorities, or regulators are outside our control, and we cannot guarantee any particular outcome, approval, or reinstatement. Any guarantee we offer is limited to what is expressly stated in the applicable service agreement.[cite: 1]
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CompliPass shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or the Free Compliance Check. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, and these Terms do not affect any mandatory statutory obligations that apply to regulated services.[cite: 1]
8. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, design, and logos — belongs to CompliPass or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.[cite: 1]
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on the Site at the time you use it is the version that applies. Material changes take effect when posted.[cite: 1]
10. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Questions about these Terms can be sent to info@complipass.net.[cite: 1]
